The world is at a crossroads. Social and environmental tensions are growing. Technology has made the global village increasingly inter-connected and inter-dependent. People everywhere are seeking transformative ideas, new resources and new leadership to ensure a peaceful and sustainable future. And, younger generations are rising to meet the challenge.
To put the hope and promise of young people on the world stage, leaders will come together in New York City this fall, from Sepember 19th to 22nd, 2012, for The 2012 Nexus: Global Youth Summit on Innovative Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship. It is convened by Search for Common Ground as follow up to the inaugural summit convened in 2011.
Additional gatherings are also being planned around the globe for 2012.
